So Barack Obama is the newly elected President of the United States.  And although I don’t trust the guy, he is my nation’s leader.  And I will support him for as long as his decisions allow me.

For the record, I’m glad Obama is a snob.  I expect the leader of the greatest country on Earth to be pretty cocky.  So at least he’s got that down.  And now he’s got 4 years to convince me he is worthy of my vote next time.  But the one thing I truly look forward to in an Obama presidency is that all my liberal friends will finally stop whining about everything.  In that case, silence is golden.  Thanks, Barry!

  • It’s our turn to bitch and complain now. :)

  • LOL @Ms. Florida Transplant.

I voted for Obama. I just wanted to say that for all of the horrible things I have read from those for whom the election didn’t go their way, your post was refreshing…

  • Ditto Ginger. I hear people are “scared” but why in this election? As a person of color, I have to say, I scared when Bush was elected. I’m not trying to make the “Q Chronicles” into a debate, but I am being totally honest.

Isn’t it time people get over skin color, and see people not “based on the color of their skin but on the content of their character?” It starts with us. I’m ready to take the plunge. Who’s diving in with me? :)

Today's Deep Thought

  • When I was about in the third grade I used to play with matches all the time. Then one day, something made me stop. I accidentally scraped one across a rough surface and it caught on fire!
