I’m not a big fan of going to the doctor, but I came down with a cold over a week ago.  I got over the cold about Wednesday of last week, but the cough that accompanied it has remained.  And it is killing me.  It is really bad at night when I am trying to get some sleep.  My sleep habits aren’t great to begin with, so when you toss in the coughing factor, I’m just not getting any reasonable amount of quality sleep.  And of course I’m just yawning during the day.  I couldn’t even eat enough turkey over the Thanksgiving weekend to induce a cough-free coma.

This week I will be at an off-site training instead of going to the office.  Good thing because I’ve been coughing a lot at work.  And a co-worker likes to point out that I am not coughing in the government approved manner, which consists of coughing into your arm?  This whole time I’ve just been covering my mouth.  My bad.

I hope it’s not swine flu.  My coughs sound like traditional coughs.  Not oinks.  So I may be okay.

  • I had a bad cough after getting bronchitis this summer. I had antibiotics and thought it was gone but it would only happen at night. I took loads of ginger, this detox tea, and drank lots of fluids. The ginger is the best for bringing out all that crap in the back of your throat. After a few days, it went away completely.

I’ve had the same problem lately. Mine aren’t that frequent, but I’ll have sudden coughing fits every so often that last a couple of minutes. They sound pretty nasty too. Hope you feel better soon, dude.

I also have been randomly coughing and can’t stop. It has been happening everyday around the same time. OF Course i am kinda young but still. I can’t seem to stop it. I don’t know if it is because i have a dry throat or what. I don’t think it is because i get water but i still cough. This goes on for about 30 minutes to an hour. Like i said before i am still kinda young but I don’t know what it is. If anyone knows what the problem might be, please reply. also i hope you feel better….

Today's Deep Thought

  • Many people do not realize that the snowshoe can be used for a great many things besides walking on snow. For instance, it can be used to carry pancakes from the stove to the breakfast table. Also, it can be used to carry uneaten pancakes from the table to the garbage. Finally, it can be used as a kind of strainer, where you force pancakes through the strings to see if a piece of gold got in a pancake somehow.
