Obviously, when I don’t blog, as I haven’t been lately, celebrities die.  And I apologize.  Especially to Billy Mays.  I really liked that guy.

As for this Michael Jackson stuff.  Wow.  I can’t believe there are that many people that adored him.  That are so broken up emotionally about this.  I am amazed at all the TV coverage.  I guess am the only one that remembers that he raped little boys?!?!

I don’t care what the judicial system said.  The dude was a child molester.  And I guess his music and cool dance moves are enough to make people look the other way.  Pathetic.  I’m just glad it isn’t just happening in America.  It looks like the world as a whole has their collective head up their ass when it comes to idolizing this pedophile.

I am gladly in the minority observing this crap.  It feels good not to drink the kool-aid.

PS:  Rest in peace Ed McMahon, Farah Fawcett, David Caradine.  And of course Billy Mays!

    I have a slightly different take. I like a lot his older music. I never knew any of those kids he raped. While I am certainly not one that ever idolized MJ, he did bring some entertainment to my life – those gold-digging families of the children he raped? Never did a thing for me.

    I chose to remember MJ for the times he entertained me and not crucify him for things he did to people I will never know…

  • Mike:

    I agree. I don’t understand what all the uproar is about. As my girlfriend mentioned the other day, what about the people who are over dying in Iraq? People like that are real heroes… yet they don’t get publicity like this whenever they are shot and killed. The media ought to be focusing its efforts on people like that, rather than some plastic guy who danced around, grabbed his crotch, and squealed.

  • Definitely an icon. Definitely talented. Definitely twisted. Other than that, I can’t say much else. Do I still enjoy Roman Polanski’s films and R. Kelly’s music? Yes. Most people who are geniuses are usually crazy. Too much brain activity, methinks.

  • Roman Polanski is a child molester and that is for sure~.;

  • i thin that Roman Polanski should not only be jailed but he should be hanged ~

Today's Deep Thought

  • I think a new, different kind of bowling should be "carpet bowling." It's just like regular bowling, only the lanes are carpet instead of wood. I don't know why we should do this, but my word, we've got to try something!
